Hurlingham (1946–63); Tracey Dutton House (1964–70) (Carry on Club Victoria) history in brief

In 1946, the Carry On Club of Victoria established the Hurlingham home at Brighton, for up to 18 vulnerable boys and young men aged 10–16 who were wards of the state.

In 1955, Hurlingham became an approved children's home.

In 1963, Carry On Victoria moved its residential care activities to smaller home units for children of both sexes, and closed Hurlingham.

In 1964, the Carry on Club purchased a family group home, Tracey Dutton House at 10 Harrison Street Mitcham, and provided short-term care to children (both girls and boys) of ex-service men and women, aged four to 13 years.

In 1970, the home closed.
