Voluntary children’s homes files (c.1930-c.1985)

Content: The files record interaction between the various voluntary homes and the government. This filing system was created in 1975, combining earlier correspondence and other records to create one system with VH prefixes.
The specific file(s) relating to Moira Private Hospital date from 1981-84 and include:
- social worker’s inspection report, undated, by 1981
- correspondence regarding acquisition of various appliances for wards resident at Moira, 1981
- annual report, Mission to the Streets and Lanes, 1981
